The present invention relates to an anti-oxidant or anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition containing extracts of Cyperaceae plants, and more specifically, to an anti-oxidant or anti-inflammatory cosmetic composition containing extracts of Cyperaceae plants of Carex bostrychostigma Maxim., Carex siderosticta Hance, Carex leiorhyncha C.A.Mey., Carex miyabei Franch or Carex neurocarpa Maxim.
