The present invention relates to a method for determining wheezing of respiratory infections. The present invention analyzes a significant correlation between eosinophil-derived neurotoxin (EDN) levels and wheezing in patients with respiratory infections, thereby evaluating EDN in pediatric patients suffering from or suffering from respiratory infections. It can be used as a marker for the diagnosis or recurrence of wheezing. Therefore, by subjecting the EDN level to more effective and accurate determination of wheezing, it can be usefully applied to the development of prophylactic and therapeutic drugs that can be managed continuously.
