The present invention relates to feathers for a badminton shuttlecock and a badminton shuttlecock using the same. Unlike conventional shuttlecocks, the composite feathers of the present invention have short rachises, wherein end portions of the short rachises have connecting holes inserted and fixed therein, thereby providing superior durability compared to conventional feathers with longer rachises. In addition, compared to conventional shuttlecocks with longer feathers having longer rachises, the present invention has a simpler shape enabling a rapid selection operation, and thus can reduce the time and costs for selection of feathers.
