A method and system for extending ontology instances using linked data and string data is presented. The ontology instance extension method using the linked data and the string data proposed in the present invention is a step of creating a knowledge map after pre-processing the existing ontology and the reference ontology, and using the knowledge map, the reference ontology having the highest similarity to the concept of the existing ontology Mapping the concept of, extracting new instances and triples that do not exist in the existing ontology among the instances of the concept of the reference ontology mapped to each of the existing ontology concepts using the knowledge map, between the new and existing instances It includes creating keywords to find potential relationships, accumulating search results as string data after searching on the web, and verifying whether the potential relationships are valid by analyzing the accumulated string data.
