The present invention provides a method and a system for power data prediction based on a pattern tagging technique which can be applied to various services related to energy management. According to the present invention, the system for power data prediction based on a pattern tagging technique comprises: a data analysis unit to receive information for each database to execute pattern recognition and extraction through clustering unsupervised learning, divide and store recognized and extracted patterns for each database, and publish and transfer the stored patterns to supply pattern information to other modules; a data forming unit to use the pattern information received from the data analysis unit to divide patterns of data to insert a corresponding pattern tag, and publish tag-inserted data to update the databases or construct a new database; a data integration unit to import a usage pattern for power usage prediction and tag data from the databases and the data analysis unit, and convert a format to use the imported tag data as LSTM input values to transfer the tag data to a load prediction unit; the load prediction unit to receive the tag data as LSTM input values from the data integration unit to predict a future usage pattern based on an LSTM network and transfer the future usage pattern to the data forming unit for result value tagging; and a visualization unit to use a tag inserted into data to visualize power usage data, and use the inserted data tag to visualize pattern data.
