According to the present invention, a booming noise control type intake system (1) includes a variable resonator (20) located on a connection line (5-2) of an intake duct (5) forming a flow path in which intake air supplied to a vehicle engine flows into an air cleaner (7), and generating a Helmholtz resonance effect by controlling a resonance length connected to the connection line (5-2). Therefore, the booming noise control type intake system is capable of reducing a booming noise reflecting the will of a driver in a change of a vehicle driving condition, such as an altitude difference and a road gradient, through on/off selective opening and closing control over an inlet of a resonance chamber and an intake duct, and specifically, greatly improving a resonance effect in a noise band in accordance with the will of the driver.
