DFT-s-OFDM DFT-s-OFDM TRANSMISSION APPARATUS AND METHOD AND DFT-s-OFDM RECEPTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SPECTRAL EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a DFT-s-OFDM transmission apparatus in a wireless communication system. The transmission apparatus comprises: a DFT precoder for receiving M BPSK symbol vectors, and performing precoding thereon by using a DFT matrix (pruned DFT matrix) pruned to use L subcarriers, where L is an integer smaller than M, wherein the pruned DFT matrix is represented as, where i and j refer to the indexes of the rows and columns of the matrix, and the term of (L-1)/2 is included in a component related to the molecular index i of a Fourier transform function; and an OFDM modulator for converting the precoded L symbol vectors into OFMD signals.
