The present invention relates to a nanofiber type La_(1-x)Sr_xCoO_3/Gd-doped ceria (GDC) composite cathode applying chemically-assisted electrodeposition and infiltration techniques for a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a nanofiber type La_(1-x)Sr_xCoO_3/GDC composite cathode which is manufactured by chemically electrodepositing a lanthanum-cobalt (La-Co) oxide to a porous GDC scaffold, performing heat treatment, and infiltrating strontium (Sr) into the porous GDC scaffold to form a La_(1-x)Sr_xCoO_3 phase, and a manufacturing method thereof. According to the present invention, the nanofiber type La_(1-x)Sr_xCoO_3/GDC composite cathode can provide a wide surface area, can help transport of an oxidant through a nanopore structure, and can provide high electrochemical performance, thereby being usefully used for the SOFC.
