The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an eco-friendly large buoy made of expanded polypropylene (EPP) material. The method for manufacturing an eco-friendly large buoy includes connecting a plurality of buoy structure with each other through hot fusion. Particularly, the method includes the steps of: (a) introducing EPP raw materials to a mold to manufacture a pair of buoy structures respectively; (b) disposing the buoy structures in a manner in which they face each other in the longitudinal direction, and disposing a heating unit between them; (c) pressurizing the buoy structures under a predetermined pressure in a direction in which they approach each other, thereby applying heat to the buoy structures; and (d) removing the heating unit, and pressurizing the buoy structures again under a predetermined pressure so that they may be bound with each other through hot fusion, thereby providing an extended buoy structure. According to the present invention, it is possible to obtain an eco-friendly and large-sized buoy through expansion molding using EPP as an eco-friendly material, and by extending length through hot fusion of a plurality of buoy structures. In addition, the large buoy can be weight-lightened as compared to injection molded products.
