The present specification relates to a manufacturing method of a viewing angle compensation film comprising the steps of: preparing a substrate; and forming a pattern layer on the substrate. The pattern layer may include a first surface including a flat surface and a second surface facing the first surface. The second surface includes a plurality of protrusion portions and each of the protrusion portions includes a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface, wherein an angle () formed by the first inclined surface and the second inclined surface is 20 to 60.
