Disclosed in the present invention are a method and a system for estimating OD travel time reliability based on robust statistics, the system comprising an interaction module, a data integration and preprocessing module, a map visualisation module, and a TTR estimation module; the method comprises: first acquiring operating data of a taxi, the interaction module transmitting the operating data to the data integration and preprocessing module for data analysis to obtain a corresponding operating data travel module; then the spacial range corresponding to the operating data is gridded by the map visualisation module to obtain units of a congruent shape and implement spatial aggregation of the taxi travel start points and end points; using a robust statistical method to obtain TTR indicators by means of the TTR estimation module and, after filling is implemented by the map visualisation module, performing spatial interpolation by means of a kriging method; and finally implementing OD travel time reliability estimation; the present invention is robust in the process of estimating the reliability of the OD travel time of outlier samples with large differences in travel time values.
