Disclosed are design for increasing a switching speed of a power electronic switching device and an application. An auxiliary pseudo-saturation voltage function circuit is added to a switching chip, so that when saturated and conducted, the switching chip is switched to different preset pseudo-saturation voltage states, thereby reducing a base region tail time constant and reducing total tail power consumption within an off time period, and improving the design limit of the switching speed. The solution of the present invention significantly increases the switching speed of a switching element, and also greatly improves the usage reliability of the switching device, thereby further improving the design. For an energy-saving lamp, an electric fan, a microwave oven, and an air conditioner, as well as an instant electric water heater using a switching power supply for heating, the electric drive of a high-speed train and the like, a laser gun, an electromagnetic gun, and aerospace power, a large amount of energy needs to be converted during research and development, and thus, it is necessary that a core switching device in the power electronic industry is widely applied.
