Provided is a method for utilizing cold-air heat of a blast furnace axial flow blower, involving: configuring two or more hot blast stoves (104, 204, 303) and, when using an alternating air supply method for supplying air to a blast furnace, providing heat exchange devices (1031, 1032, 302) on a hot air pipeline, thus utilizing blower (101, 201, 301) cold-air heat while simultaneously reducing the inlet air temperature of a hot blast stove presently in an air supply state, so as to extend the combustion time a hot blast stove may be in a combustion state. Additionally provided is a hot blast stove system, comprising: hot blast stoves (104, 204, 303) and a blower group, the hot blast stoves (104, 204, 303) being connected to the blower group by means of a hot air pipeline; the hot air pipeline having disposed thereon heat exchange devices (1031, 1032, 302) used for performing heat exchange with regard to air blown from blowers (101, 201, 301), so as to reduce the inlet air temperature of the hot blast stoves (104, 204, 303). By reducing the inlet air temperature of a hot blast stove presently in an air supply state, not only is cold-air heat from a blast furnace axial flow blower utilized, but the combustion time of a hot blast stove presently in a combustion state is simultaneously extended, thus achieving the aim of increasing hot blast stove outlet air temperature, and aiding in decreasing a coke ratio and increasing steel production.
