The present invention provides a virtual reality image switching method for implementing frame synchronization by controlling a switching time point between divided images expressing virtual reality, the method comprising the steps of: (a) determining a key frame distance (KFD) of a divided image expressing a part of an original image for implementing virtual reality; and (b) when a reproduced divided image is switched according to a change in the gaze of a user, allowing execution of switching of the divided image only in a key frame among frames configuring the divided image, so as to achieve frame synchronization between divided images before and after the switching.
