A BeiDou-based geological hazard monitoring BeiDou early warning system and method, the system comprising a geological hazard monitoring BeiDou terminal, a town early warning BeiDou terminal, and a monitoring center BeiDou alarm-issuing terminal that each carry out data transmission with a BeiDou satellite. Prior to the occurrence of a geological hazard and when the geological hazard is about to occur, early warning may be carried out by means of the town early warning BeiDou terminal, and people and supplies may be transferred in advance to mitigate the impact of the hazard; another alarm may be issued upon confirmation by the monitoring center BeiDou alarm-issuing terminal so as to prevent incorrect determination from causing public panic; a geological hazard may be forecast autonomously, thus reducing accidents caused by human factors; and a second BeiDou positioning system is further provided on the town early warning Beidou terminal for secondary verification such that positioning is more accurate.
