The invention is a measurement and recordkeeping system (1) that enables data (including statistics) and event recording in a secure and reliable manner by means of recording over a plurality of computers, the values belong to any kind of features which can be measured and charged such as the amount, weight, flow rate, pressure, size, area, volume, amperage, etc. for any goods whose storage, transportation and sales are performed between the distribution/production entities (D) and the subscribers/consumers (A) such as water utilities, trashes of any kind, natural/earth gas, electricity, fuels of any kind, and dried, fresh or processed agricultural products (spices, wheat, sugar, coffee and alike), characterized in that, it comprises the following: loT device(s) (10) ) that comprises network (20) connected electronic or electromechanical measurement devices that include smart counter, detector and sensors that provide data measurement and data transmission to the network (20), network-connected smart counters, measurement computers or computerized devices as such; P2P network (20) that consists of nodes (computers or computerized devices) that constitute the blockchains (30) by encoding the data received from the deployed loT devices (10) into the blocks; blockchain ledger (30) that is generated in the loT devices (10) with network (20) and/or node features, it is maintained by means of storing the measurement data received from the deployed loT devices (10) in chained blocks; cloud backup zone(s) (40) that enable implementing mechanisms that provide privacy of the personal/sensitive data and perform backups.
