Disclosed is an energy-storage-type high-temperature molten salt pump with a mechanical seal, the molten salt pump comprising a pump body (8), wherein the pump body (8) is connected to a pump shaft (2), an upper portion of the pump shaft (2) is sleeved with a sealing assembly (3), and an outlet of the pump body (8) is connected to a liquid outlet pipe (9) and an energy-storage-type liquid storage tank (10). The energy-storage-type liquid storage tank (10) comprises an outer housing (19) and an inner housing (20), wherein an energy-storage-type piston (26), a medium cavity and a buffer cavity are provided in the inner housing (20), and the buffer cavity is filled with a buffer liquid. The energy-storage-type liquid storage tank (10) further comprises a medium inlet pipe (22) and a buffer liquid outlet pipe (24), wherein one end of the medium inlet pipe (22) is connected to the medium cavity, and the other end thereof is connected to the outlet of the pump body (8); and one end of the buffer liquid outlet pipe (24) is connected to the buffer cavity, and the other end thereof is connected to the sealing assembly (3).
