An auxiliary coupling device (100) for a transition coupler, comprising: a rotary hook assembly (110) comprising a cylinder (111) and a plurality of auxiliary hooks (112a, 112b); a support (120) comprising a first through-hole (121) and second through holes (122a, 122b); a rotary shaft (130) comprising a shaft body (131) and a positioning groove (132); and a locking mechanism (140) provided within the second through holes (122a, 122b) of the support (120) and pressing against the rotary shaft (130); the locking mechanism (140) has a base portion fixedly connected to the second through holes (122a, 122b) and a positioning portion capable of reciprocating in a radial direction relative to the base portion; when in a locking position, the positioning portion presses against the positioning groove (132), and when in an unlocking position, the positioning portion presses against the shaft body (131), and when switching from the locked position to the unlocked position, the rotary hook assembly (110) is applied with a force not less than a preset value, and the rotary shaft (130) linked to the rotary hook assembly pushes, from the positioning groove (132), the positioning portion of the locking mechanism (140) so as to press against the shaft body (131). The auxiliary coupling device is reliable and easy to switch. Also disclosed are a transition coupler for a rail vehicle, and a rail vehicle.
