This solar tracking platform system for supporting a flat-plate solar power generation module is provided with: a support base that serves as a base for supporting the solar power generation module; a first support pillar that is elongatable/shrinkable in an axial direction and is attached, by means of joints, at one end to a first position of the solar power generation module and at the other end to the support base; a second support pillar that is elongatable/shrinkable in the axial direction and is attached, by means of joints, at one end to a second position of the solar power generation module and at the other end to the support base; a third support pillar that has one end attached, by means of a joint, to the solar power generation module at a third position forming a triangle with the first and second positions, and that has the other end connected so as to be slidable on the support base; and a control unit that causes the first and second support pillars to elongate or shrink and causes the third support pillar to slide on the support base.
