A distance measuring apparatus according to the present disclosure relates to an apparatus for measuring a distance to a measurement-target object, the distance measuring apparatus comprising: a near-infrared laser optical system for generating a near-infrared laser pulse having a predetermined non-ambiguity range (NAR) value to emit the near-infrared laser pulse toward the measurement-target object, and receiving the near-infrared laser pulse reflected from the measurement-target object to convert the near-infrared laser pulse into a near-infrared electrical signal; a visible light laser optical system for generating a visible light laser beam to emit the visible light laser beam toward the measurement-target object, and receiving the visible light laser beam reflected from the measurement-target object to convert the visible light laser beam into a visible light electrical signal; and a calculation unit for calculating a first distance value from the visible light electrical signal to calculate the number of repetitions of the NAR for a distance to the measurement-target object, and calculating the distance to the measurement-target object by using the number of repetitions and a second distance value calculated from the near-infrared electrical signal.
