The search needs assessment device performs a process conforming to a prescribed statistical classification algorithm on the feature vector data, and classifies the plurality of sets of document data into a plurality of subsets. The search needs assessment device outputs search needs property analysis results on the basis of the relationship between the plurality of subsets.
