A thermodynamic modeling and thermal design method for an overall structure of a high-speed machine tool comprises the following steps: step 1, performing three-dimensional digital modeling of a high-speed machine tool; step 2, calculating heating power of a main heating source of the high-speed machine tool and a related heat transfer coefficient; step 3, calculating a thermal resistance parameter of a plane joint portion of the machine tool; step 4, performing thermodynamic modeling for, and calculating thermal characteristics of the overall structure of the high-speed machine tool; and step 5, designing a heating state of the overall structure of the high-speed machine tool. The thermodynamic design method for the overall structure of the high-speed machine tool greatly improves accuracy of thermodynamic modeling for the overall structure of the high-speed machine tool, and shortens a design cycle, thereby facilitating forward design of high-speed machine tools, and improving first-attempt design success rates.
