Provided is a performance evaluation device capable of evaluating the influence of a given factor on the performance of a plant. The performance evaluation device comprises a performance evaluation unit that, on the basis of a function expressing the relationship between plant performance and one or more parameters, moves a point indicating the performance when the parameters each have a prescribed value along a multi-dimensional curved surface expressed by the function such that at least one of the parameters becomes a prescribed reference value, and thereby calculates the performance when the parameter is at the reference value.
