Provided is a method for identifying types of descendant tree species of a Liriodendron forest, comprising the following steps: 1) extracting leaf DNA of descendant tree species; 2) performing PCR detection; and 3) determining the descendant tree species according to a electrophoresis result. Further provided is a special kit for the method for identifying types of descendant tree species of the Liriodendron forest, comprising primers 119F and 119R. Also provided is an application of the special kit in identification of types of descendant tree species of the Liriodendron forest.
