An in vitro or ex vivo use of a hydrogel comprising one or more silylated biomolecules for the three-dimensional culture of cardiomyocytes or stem cells that are capable of differentiating into cardiomyocytes, wherein, when stem cells that are capable of differentiating into cardiomyocytes are mesenchymal stem cells obtained from adipose tissue, the hydrogel comprises agents that allow the induction of the differentiation of cardiomyocytes, and in which the hydrogel comprising silylated biomolecules is capable of forming a self-crosslinking hydrogel at a pH between 7.2 and 7, 6, in which said hydrogel contains 1 to 2% w / v Si-HPMC and has the following rheological characteristics at a pH value of 7.4 after 3 weeks of crosslinking: - a compression modulus at stress from 5% from 220 to 2600 Pa; - a storage module (G ') from 235 to 2500 Pa; - a loss modulus (G ") of 29 to 110 Pa, - a gel point of 5 to 45 minutes.
