Alginite is used as a carrier of probiotic culture; alginite is crumbled into grains with fraction up to 3 mm, preferably up to 1,3 mm. Alginite grains are sterilized and saturated with substrate which contains lactose and/or glucose. Evacuation and subsequent acting of pressure from outside atmosphere can be preferably used; the substrate enters the insides of alginite grains. As preferable proved to be a use of fraction 1-1,3 mm and saturation by 40% lactose. Subsequently an inoculated cultivation solution is applied on the alginite grains and during the fermentation a biofilm from probiotic microorganism is produced, mainly from Lactobacillus genus. Fermentation takes place at 40 °C; the resulting matter is dried. Final product is used as an additive in feed mixtures for animals, or after dissolution in water as emulsion applicable on the affected skin of animals or humans, or as intermediate product for preparation of final products in forms of capsules, tablets, emulsions for human, veterinary or cosmetic purposes.
