Biopreparation using the Serratia marcescens G8-1 strain, method of its preparation and use for removing heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons from soils
The scope of the notification is the biocidal product produced using the Serratia marcescens G8-1 strain, characterised by the presence of a liquid in a aqueous solution that is cooled from 50 to 100%. The biopreparation was produced using Serratia marcescens G8-1, Accession No B/00112, strain deposited in the Polish Microorganisms Collection as a patent deposit. The notification shall also include the method of obtaining the biopreparation using the Serratia marcescens G8-1 strain, characterised by the addition of used vegetable oil from 5 to 50 ml/L to the medium containing the yeast extract from 1 to 10 g/L,then inoculum prepared with Serratia marcescens G8-1 is inoculated and the process is carried out at a temperature from 20 to 35oC for a period of 2-10 days with simultaneous aeration or shaking to allow contamination of the medium, then the cells are separated by rotation of five min-30 min, preferably ten min at revolutions ranging from 5000 to 250000 rpm, preferably 10000, the resulting stock fluid is sterilised by autoclaving at temperatures 121-C-134-C, preferably 121-C by 15-30 min, Favourable 15-min. Vegetable oils are sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, linseed oil, olive oil. The scope of the notification is also the use of the biocidal product to wash both heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs).
