The purpose of this notification is to use short-chain monomers of general formula I: CnF2n+1-(CHY)m-CRY-OCO-CR=CH2, where n means 2 to 6, m means 0 to 3, and Y means hydrogen atom or fluorine atom, where at least one of the constituents Y is the fluorine atom and R is the hydrogen or alkyl atom to be coated with a plasma coating under reduced paper pressure on a security document containing at least one protective element. a fluoropolymer protective cellulose surface,the fluoropolimer coating of the cellulose protective surface thus produced and the security documents containing that coating.
