A reminiscence stimulating game aid according to the invention comprises: a) a collection of a plurality of mutually different objects; b) at least one playing card, with a collection of several squares on it, with in each square a representation of or corresponding to a respective one of the said objects, c) a closed container, containing the collection of objects. A player takes an object from the container. Before seeing the object, one can therefore feel the object, and the facilitator can stimulate the player to name what he feels. The player then has to place the object on a square of the card. It is possible to build in "party" moments ("BINGO!") When a row or column is "full". It does not matter whether the player places an object on the "correct" space with corresponding representation. The actual aim of the game is that the attendant, on the basis of the object removed from the container, and possibly on the basis of the place where the player places that object, stimulates the involved player to say something, preferably something the player's past, so the player must dig into his memory. The game is thus an effective aid in stimulating reminiscence in (starting) dementia in a playful and pleasant way. 1043135
