摘要

The present invention relates to an antidote formulated from a plant belonging to the Malvaceae family identified as Abelmoschus moschatus. It consists of a hydrochloric extract presenting null toxicity, anti-hemolytic, and anti-necrotic effect against the inoculation of poisonous substances of the species: Crotalus raves, Crotalus atrox, Crotalus quilts, Crotalus molossus, and Bothrops asper. Also, it has a method of maceration, drying, and resting the seeds, which is a useful tool in the case of ophidian accidents. Said antidote withstands temperatures of 37°C without any modification in its effects, avoiding refrigeration after its formulation and toxicity. In addition, its technical advantages include the use of medicinal botanical material, which avoids toxic effects, being a water-based formulation allowing its safe intake. Further, it reduces the time of medical attention to the poisoned patient.
