screwdriver or nut torque wrench system, method for installing a riser column from a platform and method for removing a riser column from a platform the present invention provides a screwdriver and nut torque wrench for installing and removing screws or flanged or similar joint nuts, including a plurality of torque stations, having a plurality of high torque wrenches for engaging bolt heads or nuts in the high torque phase during removal or installation; a plurality of low torque motors operably engaged with the keys to turn bolts or nuts during the low torque phase of removal or installation; a source of hydraulic fluid for driving low torque motors during the low torque phase, and driving high torque switches during the high torque phase; and a mechanism for switching between the two phases, depending on the required torque.
