enes and degrading enzymes of thermoacidophilic and thermophilic biopolymer of alicyclobacillus acidocaldarius and related methods and organisms. the present invention relates to purified and / or isolated nucleic acid and polypeptide sequences encoding the alicyclobacillus acidocaldarius polypeptides. in addition, methods are provided to at least partially degrade, cleave or remove polysaccharides, lignocellulose, cellulose, hemicellulose, iignin, starch, chitin, polyhydroxybutyrate, heteroxylans, glycosides, xylan, glucan, galactan or mannan decorating groups using sequences of nucleic acid and isolated and / or purified polypeptides encoding alicyclobacillus acidocaldarius polypeptides.
