drainage channel treatment system for urban areas along the seafront, comprising: (a) the abstraction of water from the sea (2) at least one point on the beach strip (1) of that seafront; this seawater captured (2) is subjected to natural filtration during its suction of the submerged sheet (3); (b) the release of such filtered seawater (2) upstream or not into each of the drainage channels (4) of the urban region (5) adjacent to the waterfront, so that the volume of drainage water (6) said channels (4) is diluted and / or backwashed along the course of that channel (4); (c) the continuous or non-continuous release of this wastewater volume (26) into a flotation process (7) at varying flow and levels in the drainage channel itself, in which this wastewater (27) before being thrown back into the sea (2) and / or directed to a lagoon (9) for recreation, primary contact leisure or livestock reservoir use is subjected to application of flocculant or coagulant material, followed by microaeration and mass disinfection net.
