diagnostic kit for confirmatory testing by the indirect elisa method that measures levels of native anti-hapten antibodies produced in a true infection, avoiding large financial losses for the livestock farm, discerning false positives that have anti-lps antibodies due to cross-reactions with post-vaccine enterobacteria and antibodies in the diagnosis of bovine brucellosis in blood serum and individual and tank milk, characterized by using the crude native hapten antigen, extracted from the 16m strain of b. melitensis, without any purification treatment and with an effective adhesion capacity, used to sensitize or antigenize the plates at a known concentration (1 pg per well), and in which the positive and negative controls are subjected to the lyophilization method to ensure conservation , avoiding contamination and degradation of the antibodies present, and guaranteeing the stability of the optical densities in the referred controls for a correct interpretation of the results in an indirect elisa assay. a freeze-drying method for controls is also presented that can be used in other diagnostic methods.
