formulation containing microencapsulated extract of bauhinia forficata link subsp. forficata with antioxidant and hypoglycemic activity for the treatment of diabetes mellitus. the present invention deals with a formulation containing dry microencapsulated aqueous extracts of bauhinia forficata link subsp. forficata for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, for oral use in the presentation of tablets, capsules, granules and powders. the invention was formulated to be consumed by people with type 2 diabetes mellitus, as it is effective in reducing blood glucose, providing a differentiated effect on the recovery of islet islands and pancreatic ß cells, in addition to having an antioxidant effect.
