The invention relates to a self-ligating orthodontic bracket door and an assembly comprising a self-ligating orthodontic bracket and door. According to the present invention, the bracket (100) comprises a slot, (3) capable of receiving at least a portion of an orthodontic arch, and a door (2) capable of moving between a closed position, in which it holds the orthodontic arch in place, and an open position, in which it exposes the orthodontic arch and allows its access. The movement of door 2 is due to the elastic behavior of the components integrating its body, such as, for example, the central portion (A) and its first and second concave segments (A1 and A2), as well as the vertices (23 and 24) , the side arms (21 and 22) and the prominent free ends (C1 and C2).
