The present disclosure relates to the field of communication technology, and provides an information processing method, an information processing device, a computer-readable storage medium and an electronic device, so as to reduce signaling overhead. The information processing method includes: receiving a registration update request from a UE; determining whether the UE has entered or left an MICO mode; when the UE has left the MICO mode, sending a first message to an associated SMF, the first message being adopted to notify the associated SMF that the UE has left the MICO mode or the UE is reachable; and when the UE has entered the MICO mode, sending a second message to a target SMF, the second message being adopted to notify the target SMF that the UE has entered the MICO mode or the UE is unreachable.
