PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating a crosslinking reaction rate of a crosslinking reaction to which a vulcanization accelerator and a crosslinking agent relate in a rubber composition containing the vulcanization accelerator and the crosslinking agent.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for calculating crosslinking reaction rate of a crosslinking reaction to which a vulcanization accelerator and a crosslinking agent relate in a rubber composition containing the vulcanization accelerator and the crosslinking agent, the method includes a process (A) for manufacturing a curelasto curve of the rubber composition, a process (B) for converting the curelasto curve obtained in the process (A) to a crosslinking reaction curve, a process (C) for first order differentiating the crosslinking reaction curve obtained in the process (B) against time and defining vulcanization time when the resulting first order differential curve takes maximum as initiation time t1 of the crosslinking reaction to which the vulcanization accelerator and the crosslinking agent relate, a process (D) for second order differentiating the crosslinking reaction curve obtained in the process (B) against time and defining vulcanization time when the resulting second order differential curve takes minimum as finish time t2 of the crosslinking reaction to which the vulcanization accelerator and the crosslinking agent relate, and a process (E) for calculating the crosslinking reaction rate of the crosslinking reaction to which the vulcanization accelerator and the crosslinking agent relates by using a crosslinking reaction curve between t1 and t2 defined in the process (C) and (D).SELECTED DRAWING: None
