To solve the problem in which heavy rare earth elements are not uniformly diffused inside a magnet concerning a manufacturing method of a heavy rare earth grain boundary diffusion type RE-Fe-B based rare earth magnet and the heavy rare earth grain boundary diffusion type RE-Fe-B based rare earth magnet manufactured by the same.SOLUTION: Provided are a manufacturing method of a grain boundary diffusion type RE-Fe-B based rare earth magnet using a minimum amount of heavy rare earth elements, with improved coercive force while manufacturing uniform and stable quality products by using mainly heavy rare earth hydrogen compounds as diffusion materials during a manufacturing of grain boundary diffusion magnets in manufacturing a grain boundary diffusion type RE-Fe-B based rare earth sintered magnet with a reduced content of heavy rare earth elements, and the grain boundary diffusion type RE-Fe-B based rare earth magnet manufactured by the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
