A wiring aggregation apparatus (1) is provided with one or more subunits (3-1 to 3-3). The subunits (3-1 to 3-3) are provided with: input/output modules (20-1, 20-2) which output, to a control module (10), first serial signals obtained by parallel-to-serial converting a plurality of pieces of contact information collected from a plurality of devices (6), and which output, to the plurality of corresponding devices (6), a plurality of pieces of contact information obtained by serial-to-parallel converting second serial signals acquired from the control module (10); and the control module (10) which places, in specified frame positions, the first serial signals acquired from the input/output modules (20-1, 20-2), generates a transmission frame, transmits the transmission frame to another wiring aggregation apparatus, extracts, from a received frame acquired from the other wiring aggregation apparatus, the second serial signals placed in specified frame positions, and outputs the extracted second serial signals to the corresponding input/output module (20-1, 20-2).
