The invention relates to a column oven for a gas chromatography device and the gas chromatography device using the same. Even if combustible gas left in a column oven main body is ignited, on one hand, the scale of the explosion can be reliably reduced and on the other hand, a door is prevented from being opened suddenly caused by air pressure during explosion to cause a user to be in a dangerousstate. A latch that holds the door to be in a locked state has a latch arm that extends linearly on both sides across a latch shaft. One end of the latch arm on the back side forms a hook-shaped part.The hook-shaped part is clamped to the column oven main body or to a hooking part arranged a housing of gas chromatography device main body including the column oven main body. When an explosion occurs in the internal space and the airflow suddenly flows out through the gap between the inner door and the front edge portion of the right side wall, the airflow will strike the latch arm on the frontside with respect to the latch shaft. Thus, the latch is subjected to a force in a counterclockwise direction, and the clamping between the hook-shaped part and the hooking part is enhanced, so the clamping is prevented from being loosen to cause the door to be opened.
