The technology for securely extending the cloud service application programming interface (API) in the cloud service marketplace is a cloud service provider cloud service provider interface and a cloud service broker cloud service. -Includes a connector hub of a marketplace computing device that communicatively connects to the broker interface. The connector hub places the API connector instance at the connection factory of the marketplace computing device, transmits the provider provided channel certificate to the API connector instance and the cloud service provider interface, and transmits the broker provided channel certificate to the API connector. Configured to transmit to the instance and cloud service broker interface. The connector hub is additionally configured to establish a delivery channel between the cloud service provider interface and the cloud service broker interface. Additional embodiments are described herein.
