PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzing method and an analyzing device that can, even if the time counts by two earthquake measuring instruments differ from each other, correct this discrepancy and calculate an accurate inter-layer displacement value.SOLUTION: By using a first dwelling house earthquake history gauge (earthquake measuring instrument) installed near the ground story floor or in the under-floor foundation part of a wooden building to measure accelerations by using a first set of acceleration data of an X axis, a Y axis and a Z axis along the time history, and a second dwelling house earthquake history gauge (earthquake measuring instrument) installed near the ground story ceiling or the second story floor of the wooden building obtained from a second set of acceleration data along the X axis, the Y axis and the Z axis along the time history are used to calculate the interlayer displacement quantity occurring when the wooden building is shaken according to an analytical processing program. On this occasion, regarding the first set of acceleration data of the Z axis from the first dwelling house earthquake history gauge and of the Z axis from the second set of acceleration data from the second dwelling house earthquake history gauge, correlation is checked and after correcting any deviation between the time histories of the two sets of acceleration data, the interlayer displacement quantity is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
