As an operating function, the device for estimating empathetic influence calculates, for content CE to be estimated, a content characteristic quantity matrix FE associating the characteristic quantity fj of each predetermined content characteristic element vj, and the machine learning engine inputs the characteristic quantity matrix FE and outputs the level of identification αE and the degree of difficulty βE as empathetic influence M.
