PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform laying and maintenance work while checking an electric path and installation place of a cable to be used by pulling out a desired length from a drum at a work site and using the cable itself.SOLUTION: The cable management method includes: causing a code reading device to scan a two-dimensional code from a form on which the two-dimensional code is printed to obtain instruction information at a site where cables are created; causing an issuing unit to issue an identification code peculiar to the cable for each newly generated application on the basis of the instruction information; and causing a color printing unit to print out on a cable information on an identification code unique to the cable and an electric path in which a cable included in the instruction information is laid out in a color according to a kind of an electric path while pulling out the cable from a drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
