PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for calibration.;SOLUTION: A lens position adjusting device includes: a projection lens 11 for projecting an image; a lens moving part 13 capable of moving the projection lens in first and second directions which are orthogonal to the optical axis of the projection lens 11 and are orthogonal to each other; a memory part 12 for storing positional information that represents the position of the projection lens 11 on a plane orthogonal to the optical axis of the projection lens 11 by two-dimensional coordinates having the first and second directions; and a control part 14 for receiving an operation instruction to the first and second directions, controlling the moving operation of the lens moving part 13 in accordance with the operation instruction, and storing in the memory part 12 the positional information representing the current position of the projection lens after moved.
