A cable coating and stripping device comprises a first coated shear blade and a second coated shear blade. The first coated shear blade includes a pair of cutting edges, and the two parts of the cablecan be sheared in a preset length by the relative movement of the pair of cutting edges and the cable. The two parts are separated from each other in the circumferential direction of the cable. The cable comprises a core wire and a cover covering the core wire. The second coated cutting edge can shear a portion of the coating of the cable over a predetermined length relative to the movement of the cable relative to the cable. The portion is separated from the two parts sheared by the first coated shear blade in the circumferential direction of the cable.
