PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting attachment capable of performing attachment to an object to be lifted by remote operation, and a lifting method.SOLUTION: A lifting attachment 1 comprises: a shaft member 11 being formed in a rod shape and having a hook part 111 protruding in a direction intersecting with an axial direction at one end; and a slide member 12 engaged with the shaft member 11 in a slidable manner in the axial direction of the shaft member 11. The slide member 12 has a wedge part 121 at an end portion closer to the hook part 111. The wedge part 121 is formed such that a width in the same direction as the direction in which the hook part 111 protrudes becomes smaller in the direction in which the hook part 111 protrudes toward the end portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
