To provide an upper body garment which does not affect an outerwear and by which smooth appearance can be realized since a sewing line does not appear on the front side while providing strength capable of preventing bust from moving to sides and a method for producing the upper body garment.SOLUTION: An upper body garment 1 comprises: a body part 2 having a front part 5 which covers the bust of a wearer, and a rear part 6 which covers an upper part of the back of the wearer; an integrated pad 4 which covers the bust of the wearer; pad receiving cloth 13 arranged on the rear side of the front part 5 of the body part 2; and a pad accommodation part S which is formed between the front part 5 of the body part 2 and the pad receiving cloth 13, and is a space for accommodating the integrated pad 4. An adhesion part A is formed in an area around the pad accommodation part S between the front part 5 of the body part 2 and the pad receiving cloth 13. The upper body garment 1 comprises a pair of left and right side support parts 30 which overlap with left and right sides 15 of the front part 5 of the body part 2 and are sewn to the pad receiving cloth 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
