PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insolation intensity cross-correlation coefficient estimating device that can estimate a cross-correlation coefficient of insolation intensity time-series data between prescribed two points without requiring many pyrheliometers.SOLUTION: An insolation intensity cross-correlation coefficient estimating device 100 for estimating a cross-correlation coefficient of insolation intensity time-series data between prescribed two points comprises: an auto-correlation function acquiring part 110 that acquires an auto-correlation function of the insolation intensity time-series data at a prescribed first point; a delay time acquiring part 120 that acquires first delay time meaning length of time which a cloud existing in a direction perpendicular to a wind direction reaches a prescribed second point from the first point; and a cross-correlation coefficient estimating part 130 that uses the acquired auto-correlation function and first delay time to estimate the cross-correlation coefficient of the insolation intensity time-series data between the first and second points.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
